Kinergy Cleanroom Project

Background

AlfaTech Asia was engaged to deliver alterations and additions for Kinergy’s new ISO 7 / Class 10,000 cleanroom facility in Singapore. The project included both builder and M&E works, ensuring a fully certified and operational cleanroom for production use.

Project Highlights

The project involved the fit-out of approximately 1,000 SF into an ISO 7 / Class 10,000 certified cleanroom. Key features included a changing room with an air shower, interlock room, viewing gallery, and incoming/outgoing area with interlocking roller shutters.

AlfaTech Asia provided a full design-and-build service from concept to handover, proposing solutions tailored to end-user and stakeholder requirements. The works included ACMV services, electrical and fiber optic systems, partitions and ceilings, static dissipative vinyl flooring, compressed air systems, fire protection works, and facility management systems. Cleanroom white goods were also supplied and installed.

The project required intensive planning and close coordination due to the multiple stakeholders and technical complexity involved. All installations, including electrical, plumbing, partitions, flooring, gas, and compressed air systems were tested, inspected, and commissioned to ensure compliance. The cleanroom was duly certified and accepted for operational use.
